Transcriptomic Analysis of Orchid Flower Development
Utilizing transcriptomics, we analyzed the dynamic changes in
gene expression during the early development of orchid flower organs. Through comparison
of spatial and temporal expression patterns, we identified thousands of genes, including
well-known MADS-box genes and numerous potential downstream genes, that exhibited
preferential expression in specific tissues/stages. This forms a model for the
initiation, identity determination, and morphogenesis of flower organs. We conducted a
systematic study of orchid flowering development process, providing valuable resources
for further research on the complex and crucial gene regulatory networks during orchid
flowering
